The Centre for Energy at UWA is a dedicated centre for world-class energy research and technology development.

The Centre is working closely with leading companies, institutions and government agencies, to improve gas to liquid, clean coal and biofuel technology and to develop efficient and effective ways to minimise greenhouse gas (CO₂) and other emissions.

The Centre's work is critical to address Australia's increasing reliance on imported oil and the associated energy security implications and supports energy production and services in regional communities. We also offer a range of courses, including postgraduate research that shapes future industry leaders.
